Ruby is the birthstone for July. It's such a beautiful stone coming in various shades of red and pink and a really romantic choice for an engagement ring. Below are a few of our bespoke rings that have been commissioned by customers with the history and inspirations behind them.
Bespoke wing inspired ring with heart shape 0.20ct ruby.
Mike wanted a special ring that had some personal meaning to present to Jodie on St Valentines Day. Mike had a winged tattoo design which was the inspiration for the ring, and has been interpreted as an all around set 3.5mm heart shape ruby sitting in the centre and framed by long stylised wings. The ring's band measures 3mm wide increasing to just over 4mm at the widest part at the tip of the wings.

Chris and Sharon had a ring with rubies and a diamond that they wanted to incorporate into a new design for Sharon's engagement ring. The two rubies are set in all around settings and the three diamonds are channel set. The delicate band is 2mm wide.
Bespoke sterling silver mans ring with 17 invisibly set stones
Dave inherited a selection of jewellery from his Mum and wanted to have it made into something simple he could wear and cherish. Dave decided to use the stones from two rings and a necklace - 2 x 2.1mm diamonds, 1 x 1mm diamond, 6 x 2mm rubies, 3 x 2.1mm aquamarines, 5 x 2.2mm dark blue Sapphire in a sterling silver ring. These stones have been invisibly set at random in an extra thick 9mm wide flat satinised band, then an engraved message weaves its way between the stones themselves.
Platinum engagement ring with ruby and customers own diamonds.
Gema wanted a really dark red ruby incorporated into her engagement ring and John had some old cut diamonds from a ring he inherited and wanted to use these as accent stones. The emerald cut ruby is 7.2x5.2mm in size and sits within a simple flat 3mm flat 3.5mm wide band which the old cut diamonds have been invisibly set into.
