Customers are always asking us how the tradition of using diamonds in engagement rings came about. People always assume that this is a very old tradition but in fact it actually only came about in the 1940s as a result of De Beers.
Prior to that couples more often than not used coloured gemstones - a tradition that we have tried to re-establish over the 10 years that we've been in business!
