Christmas 2007 by Purple Label

Hi everyone,

I have just been working on the final amendments to our Christmas collection and I thought you may wish to see a sneak preview of our new designs that will soon be available on Purple Label. These are some of my favourite pieces - a few of which I was lucky enough to be able to model in the photo shoots! As Harriet mentions in our Christmas Press Release, we have worked with a variety of textures, colour and specific gemstones to ensure that there is something perfect for everyone. The collection contains statement pieces for that special Christmas party as well as understated pendants that could be worn throughout the year. We have developed designs across a broad price range so if you are shopping for gifts we will have something to suit any budget. The below products are just a sample of what will be available in our Christmas collection, to be launched on 24th October.

Press Release – Christmas 2007

Christmas 2007 by Purple Label

Christmas is a magical time of year when we all look for fantastic gifts that are individual and carefully chosen. With the 2007 launch of Purple Label, a ready to wear collection by Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design, you will be able to find gifts for all your family and friends with the warm knowledge that everything is designed and handcrafted here in the UK, with the assuring guaranteed Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design quality.

Harriet Kelsall says:
"Our Christmas collection this year is all about sumptuous sparkle but as ever, in an elegant and understated way. It also includes opulent designs made from pearls and semiprecious stones with Swarovski crystals for a little winter sparkle. We have some bold and colourful pieces as well as some chic pieces with metallic hematite and polished onyx. We have looked a lot at textures and have included wonderful icy crackled rock crystal, satinised silver, sparkly mutilated chalcedony and iridescent crystal. Deep rich reds are always great at Christmas time and we have some great pieces to work well with the burlesque Victoriana fashions. We have included both gold and silver pieces and some that bring the two together - and some wonderful pave set diamond earrings and pendants."

The Christmas collection includes:

Lava Sphere and Swarovski Crystal Pendant on a Crimson Necklet - £29.95

This beautiful pendant consists of a speckled sphere of Lava and is complimented by a red Swarovski crystal which matches the necklet perfectly. The size of the Lava sphere is 16mm in diameter and the length of the necklet is 16inches. This piece is versatile enough to compliment a daytime or evening outfit.

Caged Druzy Chalcedony Pendant - £88.95

These stunning pieces of Chalcedony have a layer of tiny crystals known as Druzy, giving it a really sparkly, granular effect. They are caught in a fine cage of silver and because each piece is a different shape every one looks different and has its own character. The chain is 32" long so it can be worn long or wrapped round twice for a layered effect.

Sterling Silver Bangle with a Garnet Charm - £62.95

This lovely sterling silver bangle is approximately 3mm in width and has an angular profile for an almost faceted look. The curved inside makes the bangle comfortable to wear and a touch of colour is added by the single moving charm. This is made from two polished garnet oats and matching red tones of Swarovski crystals.

Aventurine Necklace with Agate and Crystals - £42.95

This captivating necklace consists of a teardrop of aventurine, complimented by spheres of green agate and Swarovski crystals. The approximate length of the aventurine pendant is 30mm and it is 22mm in width. The subtle sparkle of the aventurine provides a natural shimmer to the necklace which catches the light perfectly. It is approximately 16 inches in length and is made from a nylon coated steel core thread.
