Aquamarine Engagement Rings

As this month's Birthstone is aquamarine I thought I would write about the stunning engagement rings we currently have in our ready to wear collection with this beautiful stone in.

Aquamarines are a type of beryl that gains its name from the wonderful watery sea blue colours that it comes in, it can also have a varying tinge of green to it. They have often been associated with the qualities of happiness and understanding.

Aquamarine Engagement Rings

This particular ring is currently on sale in our Cambridgeshire showroom and has this outstanding 2.03ct emerald cut aquamarine all round set in 18ct white gold. The band has a flat profile and has had two 1.5mm princess cut diamonds set in the shoulders which gives the ring a really fresh crisp look.

Aquamarine Engagement Rings

Another of the stunning aquamarines rings that we currently have in our Cambridge showroom is this art deco inspired engagement ring, with this beautiful 0.94ct baguette cut side only set stone, which lets in lots of light. The band has been made from 9ct white gold and we have slightly raised the shoulders so that the two tapered baguette cut G/H SI/ VS diamonds, totalling 0.08ct, could be invisibly set which adds to the Art Deco look. Again like in the previous ring the combination of the white metal, diamonds and aquamarine really creates a very fresh clean look that is accentuated by the geometric forms that are so quintessential to the art deco period.

Aquamarine Engagement Rings

If you are looking for something with a more organic look we also have this magnificent engagement and wedding ring set that holds this unusual oval facetted natural African aquamarine. The design was inspired by ocean waves which is encapsulated by the flowing shape of the platinum rings, the beautiful translucent blue of the 0.73ct aquamarine and the five graduating pave set brilliant cut H SI diamonds.
