Environmentally Friendly Jewellery Price Labels

 

Hi there,

We are currently having to change the paper that we use for our price labels because it is being discontinued. We wanted to stick to recycled paper if possible.

I have had a meeting with our graphic designer the other day to discuss the paper options. All of the options that Harriet had picked out from some samples are ethically sourced. These are not actually recycled paper options (which has some problems with colour bleeding). However, they are in fact better for the environment due to the energy and resources required to produce recycled paper. These papers are FSC approved, this means that for every tree they use for paper production they plant three more.

So I thought it was interesting that this is a more environmentally friendly option than a recycled product.
