An Extra Special Commission

With the wedding season well upon us..... I wanted to tell you all a commissioned wedding ring that for me was an extra special one!

My mum and her now husband got married on the 17th April this year. When Ashley first asked me to secretly help him to design my mum a ring so he could propose on his 50th birthday in Dubai, it was so difficult to keep the plans to myself!!

Ashley came into the halls green studio for an appointment with Rebecca and I. A combination of a pear shaped diamond and cognac diamonds was a prerequisite within the design; Ashley fell in love with the twist design below from our ready to wear cabinets.

With the twist design in mind and the natural colour of the 18ct white gold complimenting mums skin tone, together with the pear shaped diamond and graduating cognac diamonds in the shoulders. I knew it would be perfect!

She was over the moon with the ring and couldn't stop staring at the sparkle! Even though the wedding wasn't until a year and half later it soon whizzed by and we were arranging the wedding rings.

They both came into the studio to see Rebecca and I to design a stunning wedding ring with graduating cognac and white diamonds to compliment her engagement ring beautifully. Ashley decided to go for an 18ct white gold plain wedding ring to match mums!

The wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! It was on the lovely hot weekend in April, and she is still getting compliments about her rings!
