The Mayor's Thames Festival is London's largest outdoor arts festival. It is a spectacular event, free to all, which brings together Londoners of all ages and communities to celebrate the city. The Festival is on this weekend and opens to the public at 12pm today and tomorrow.
During the Festival, the School for Creative Startups will be joining forces with EtsyUK and Tea's Knee to bring you the Create Cafe stall which will be a one-stop shop for expert advice on lots of different creative business topics.
Doug Richard (of Dragon's Den fame) will be there as will other top industry experts to advice you on your creative business idea.
I am working with the School for Creative Start-ups which is a one-year business programme for creative people with unique ideas and who wish to start a business. Our aim is to try to help support these businesses and make them a success. This is Doug Richard's programme designed to teach creative businesses the skills needed to become a sucessfull entrepreneur. There are still some places left on the programme and so anybody with a particularly good idea might even end up with a free place on the programme.
Today, the Create Cafe stall is outside City Hall and tomorrow it will be outside the Tate Modern. So please do pop along if you think we might be able to help you.
I will be there this evening from about 5pm for an hour or two and hope to see you there!
