Christmas with Harriet Kelsall

 

It's December and Christmas is just a few days away now. It can be a pretty stressful time of year, don't you think? Firstly you have to think of what presents to buy for everyone, desperately trying to remember what you bought Grandma last year, as you don't want to get her hankies with her initial embossed on them if that's what she had last time. Then you have to get on-line or rush out to the shops and join the hustle and bustle and queue for hours, only to remember that you have forgotten Aunties' Turkish Delight. On top of that, what size turkey do you need? Is everyone coming to you on Christmas Day? Who knows? You are still waiting for them all to decide. And the crazy thing is, it will be exactly the same next year and the year after that, because at the end of the day the main thing is to have the family together and does it really matter about the Turkish Delight? As long as she has her box of figs, she will be just as happy.
