Keech Hospice Auctions

Recently Harriet was approached by Keech Hospice care to draw a butterfly motif to celebrate their 21st Birthday - but we decided we could do more than just a drawing and instead created several gorgeous bespoke pieces of butterfly jewellery.

The lovely pieces of jewellery will be going into several auctions to raise money and awareness for Keech and the tremendously important work they do.

Butterfly Jewellery

"Keech Hospice Care cares for adults living in Luton and South Bedfordshire and children from across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes. Their aim is to help patients enjoy the highest quality of life, while providing vital support for their family and friends throughout their loved one's illness and in their bereavement.

All of their services are offered 365 days of the year and is free to families that need them. But “free” care costs. In order to provide free care, they need to fundraise for 75% of their annual running costs as just 25% comes from the government or NHS. Therefore their services are made possible because of the generous support from the local community.

Keech Hospice is one of only a handful of UK organisations offering adult and children's services on the same site. Their broad range of services aim to enrich the lives of patients and their families from the diverse communities of Luton, south Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.

Their aim is to help families make the most of the precious time they have left with their loved one. While many of the patients will have only a short life, they all still have plenty of living to do!"

Keep an eye out on Twitter and Facebook for updates on when the most recent auctions are.
