Ripple eternity ring with green tourmalines and green heat-treated diamonds
This eternity ring has a ripple shape in the band across the front of the ring. This also means that it would sit well next to an engagement ring with a round stone that was too prominent to sit next to a flat unshaped band - like a fitted ring. It holds alternate beautiful heat-treated green diamonds with green 2mm brilliant cut tourmalines. The 18ct white gold ring is just under 4mm wide, the band is flat on the inside with a slght curve on the outside giving a softer look to the ring. The diamonds are given this beautiful colour by a special process using state-of-the-art technology to produce this beautiful and permanent colour change. The treatment means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) or cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stone must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work, the ring has also been rhodium plated to give a bright white colour.
