Sterling silver ring with 27.03cts sapphire matrix
This wonderful dramatic ring holds a 27.03cts sapphire matrix gemstone - this is sapphire crystals included with its base rock that they occur in naturally. It is more brittle than pure sapphire because of the natural striations in the stone but in Harriet's experience is usually pretty hard wearing. This lovely stone has a lot of natural interest and textures within and across the surface and shows shades of deep blue and greys as it catches the light. This has been simply and cleanly set in sterling silver. The ring band is about 4mm wide and the front of the ring measures about 22x19mm across.
