Inspired by art deco designs
Claire loves Art Deco designs and wanted this to be the inspiration for her ring. The warmth of the 18ct rose gold works beautifully with the central natural cognac diamond and the orange and chocolate cognac smaller heat treated diamonds. We have pave set most of the stones into the ring which gives an antique feel and a very striking design. Heat-treated coloured diamonds get their beautiful and permanent colour change using a special process of high temperatures and pressures or sometimes ion infusion. Natural occurring diamonds of these colours are very rare and cost huge sums of money and so this treatment process brings these stunning coloured diamonds within reach. This also means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) so the stones would need to be carefully removed and reset during any future resizing work.
