9ct rose gold engagement ring with 0.95ct natural sapphire
Rebecca and Daniel wanted a unique engagement ring design which suited Rebecca's personality and her love for colour. They loved the idea of something organic and fluid with a bit of a twist to it, so when they saw this natural just under 7x5mm pear shape sapphire it seemed perfect for what they wanted. The sapphire has been set so only three quarters of the stone is covered by the smooth rub over setting, allowing light to passed into the stone and enhance its unusual slate blue colour. The 3mm wide tapered rose gold band compliments the slate blue of the sapphire really well and gives the ring a nice warmth. The smooth curved shank wraps around the sapphire on one side and curls into a tight scroll around a little 1.2mm brilliant cut H SI diamond to finish the asymmetrical look.
