Bespoke platinum engagement ring with an emerald cut diamond
Simon was really drawn to emerald cut stones, so sat down with Alice who drew out some ideas for him using this lovely cut and we then sourced this stunning 6x4mm (0.59ct)emerald cut H/I VS diamond to get down on one knee with. After Danielle of course said yes, he showed her Alice's sketches. She was delighted with the design so we got on with making it for them. The ring itself is platinum, 2.5mm wide with a D-shaped profile and polished finish. Simon put a lot of thought into how the stone is set so that an un-shaped wedding ring could sit next to it in the future. The four claw setting is undercut so a straight band can easily slip underneath for a clean, simple look.
