Ethical Tanzanian ruby and recycled diamond engagement ring in mixed metals
This beautiful engagement ring is made from rose gold and palladium. The stunning intense 1.04cts ruby is very unusual because it is Tanzanian and we know the stone dealer who found it for us very well - he visited this mine for us. The side diamonds are a total of 0.21cts and are H SI and have been reconditioned from some antique earrings - so these too are an ethical choice (and this also keeps the cost lower than it would be for new diamonds too). The band of the ring is just under 3mm wide and we chose 9ct rose gold because of its warm pinky gold tones to contrast well with the beautiful intense colour of the ruby. The palladium stone settings are simple 4 claw settings giving a contemporary feel to this classic shape. The ruby is about 7.25mm long.
