Celtic Inspired Eternity Rings.

We find that many customers like to include a Celtic influence in their eternity ring.

This can be done in a number of ways - from simple engraving to a more complicated twist style.

The rope idea, twisting together in a symbolic way is a feature of Celtic design and this can be mimiced with jewellery with twisting strands of metal.

Our Celtic twist rings are not stamped out or mass produced - each one is individually handmade by a goldsmith - a very hard job to ensure it marries up and is the right ring size! This means that each of our Celtic twist rings are unique.

Single or Double Twist Celtic Rings

Single Celtic twist wedding rings are often about 3 or 3.5mm wide, and made from either 3 colours of 9ct gold (white, rose and yellow in one ring), 9ct white and yellow gold, 18ct white and yellow gold, All yellow gold (9ct or 18ct), All white gold (9ct or 18ct), All Sterling silver.

Two twists of metal form a Double Celtic twist rings, and these look like plaits. They are often about 6mm wide, although this can vary. They can be made from all yellow gold (9ct or 18ct) or all white (9ct or 18ct).

Engraved Celtic rings

An alternative way to put a celtic design on your eternity ring is to engrave it. There are many Celtic patterns that can be used and engraving them is a way of doing something more intricate than a twist ring can achieve.

Other Celtic Ring Designs

If you are after a twist look but in one metal colour, another idea is to engrave the ring with the twist pattern instead of actually twisting the metal together. the advantave here is that the back is flat and can therefore be engraved.

Remember that as with any other of our designs, Celtic wedding rings can be finished in a number of finshes, for example satin on Tunstall.
