General Information on Engraving outside the Shank
If you are thinking of engraving lettering on the outside of your engagement ring you will need to probably think about this aspect of the design before anything else. Lettering creates a bold statement and the choice of style will therefore be limited to perhaps a more of a simple wedding type band.
Our engravers work entirely by hand and can copy pretty much any style of writing that is given to them. This means that you can specify a font or they can actually copy your handwriting if you like.
If your engagement ring is a simple design, the cost of engraving on the outside of it can be from about £4 (+VAT UK and EU only) per letter for small simple italics. There are a large choice of fonts so contact us if you have something particular in mind.
