General Information on Patterened Engraving
There are of course no rules when it comes to adding patterns on your engagement ring with engraved lines or patterns. The above ring is a great example of the addition of a simple Celtic pattern in the form of a pair of intertwining curved lines has routed the design in that style. It is often the simple touches in an engagement ring design that make all the difference and this is a good example of that.
In this ring design the pattern is provided by two different textures of finish - polished and tunstall. The engraved line in this case serves to differentiate the boundary and emphasises the contrast.
This engagement ring is inspired by the Chrysler Building and the engraved zig-zag patterns echo that Art Deco designed building in New York.
