Trilogy Engagement Ring Designs
A trilogy or three stone style engagement ring is a classic shape that always includes three stones. Traditionally these are three diamonds however this doesn't have to be the case.
The tradition has grown up based on the idea that the three stones symbolise your past, your present and your future - so a big meaning behind the shape!
At Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design we are very keen on using coloured gemstones and love adding splashes of colour either side of a central diamond, so you'll see in our trilogy engagement rings gallery a good number of designs that have coloured stones either side of a central diamond.
The style works equally well the other way around - ie a central coloured gemstone such as a sapphire or ruby, flanked by diamonds.
As with all things, we advise to do what works for you and we always say, you don't have to stick to the tradition when it comes to your own unique engagement ring design!
