We don't hold a huge stock of gemstones here, but when we've discussed your requirements with you we get in a selection of gems from various suppliers to look at on approval. Because we don't have a stock of stones we've bought and need to sell you, we're not going to push you towards particular stones - it's all about finding what you love. Our advice is always impartial and honest, and like all the other stages in this process, it's about getting the best, most beautiful engagement ring within your budget.
Over the years we have built up relationships with the best UK diamond merchants as well as overseas suppliers. Our suppliers have learnt that we know the difference between an exquisite stone and a mediocre one - and we'll simply send anything back that falls below our standard, so they only send us the best to show you! They also know that we only buy diamonds that are conflict free and always have done. Our prices are slightly below the UK average though, because we are clever about sourcing and have long-term relationships with our gem merchants.

We have access to both certificated and non-certificated stones, and if it is important to you we are very happy to show you only certificated stones for your engagement ring.

Making sure we are sourcing gems ethically has been important to us from the very beginning. We are very proud to say that we have always been passionate about ensuring that we don't use what are termed 'conflict diamonds' or for that matter any unethically mined gemstones in our jewellery. No one would want to find out their engagement ring had helped to fund wars or repressive regimes and we've put in a lot of time into making sure that will never be the case.
We have a wide network of gemstone dealers ranging from large companies to small one-man bands who live in the far east seeking out rare and unusual stones for us to show you. If you are interested in a coloured gemstone, there is no better place to find the unusual and beautiful than with us.

As you may have noticed on our website, we love using unusual gemstones in our engagement rings and we've becoming known for this.
