Kid's Jewellery Design Competition
1st May - 1st June 2013
Get the kids to unleash their creativity this month with our great design competition. To enter simply design a fantastic crown for either William or Kate, the future King and Queen, and send it to us.
It is completely free to enter this competition! Please do your fantastic design on one side of A4 with name, age and contact details on the back.
The competition will run from May 1st-31st. The designs can be dropped into us in person at our Hertfordshire Jewellery Centre, by post or email. Entries will be split into 3 categories: under 4s, 5-9 years old and 10+. Winners will be announced at our summer jewellery and classic car event.

Jewellery and Classic Cars
Saturday 8th June 2013
Come on down to our summer event this June at our Halls Green jewellery centre. The Letchworth Classic Car Club are holding their rally in the next field so why not combine a visit to our studio with a look at the classic cars. You can also relax in the summer sun on our decked area with a delicious treat from our Jewellery Coffee Shop. A great day out for all the family!

'Discovering Inspiration Through Design' - a talk by Rebecca Howarth

Our Head of Design, Rebecca will talk you through all things design related. An award-winning jewellery designer, she is bound to inspire you with glimpse, from the inside, at the world of jewellery design.
Why not combine this with a relaxing lunch in our coffee shop or a walk in the nearby countryside.
This is a free event. The talk will start at 11am, please arrive 15 minutes before.
Bespoke Silversmithing Workshop
Saturday 13th July 2013
We will be running a great adult jewellery making workshop on Saturday 13th July. You'll have a fantastic chance to make a beautiful bespoke piece of jewellery handmade by you - a great way of making a unique gift for a loved one! There will be a choice between making a Sterling silver bangle or ring, and lunch will be provided after the workshop. Places for this are limited and are sure to fill up fast. Please contact us to avoid disappointment.
This event will be running from 9.30am - 1.30pm with lunch supplied after.

There will be a fantastic kids jewellery making party held at our jewellery centre on the 24th August. Let their creativity flourish as they get to work making beautiful beaded creations with a prize for the most unusual piece.

'Keeping the Sparkle' - a workshop on how to maintain your jewellery

A fantastic chance to meet our designers and have a go at cleaning your jewellery and learning how to maintain your sparkly pieces. This will be an interactive style 'workshop' setting, and your item of jewellery will also get a free polish when you come to this.

Kid's Halloween Jewellery Party

Another fab chance for your kids to try their hand at crafting unique creations, but with a ghoulish twist! There will be prizes for the best fancy dress costume, and Halloween themed treats will be available from our Coffee Shop.

'Discovering Unusual Gemstones' - a talk by Teddy Marshall

Teddy, our resident gemstone expert, will be doing a talk about all things sparkly on 16th November. She will have lots of interesting facts and some great unsual gemstones to show; as well as some fantastic stories about the historical beliefs about some of them. This is a great one, not to be missed!

Christmas Jewellery Event

Our annual Christmas event will take place on the 23rd November at our Halls Green studio. Come and peruse the collections for some great Xmas present ideas and join us for a glass of mulled wine in aid of charity.
This is a free event, running all day from 9.45 - 5pm.
