Sarah's Sterling silver and opal pendant redesign
Sarah inherited a beautiful opal brooch from her mother and while she loved the beautiful gemstone, she felt that the brooch itself wasn’t to her style. She wanted to commission a new piece of jewellery that showcased the opal and made it the focal point of the design. This handmade Sterling silver pendant is contemporary in style and features the opal on its side in an all around setting. Setting the opal in this way breathed new life into the stone as well as keeping it secure. The simple silver bail allows Sarah to wear the pendant on a 16 inch curb chain.
