Learn about Aquamarine
Aquamarine measures 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale and is said to enhance the happiness of marriages, making it an ideal stone for an engagement ring. The greenish blue colour is a result of traces of iron and particularly complements white metal such as platinum or white gold. Heat treating can remove this tinge and it should be assumed that stones we supply have been heat treated. Find out more....
