Sarah's 9ct fairtrade rose gold engagement ring using a family sapphire
Tom wanted to create an engagement ring to surprise his partner Sarah. Tom also wanted to create a ring including a gemstone that he had inherited from a family member. The inherited gemstone was a 1.09carat round cut antique blue sapphire. The would be the central focus of Sarah's engagement ring. The ring its self would be in 9ct rose gold as this is Sarah's favourite precious metal. To create more sparkle two brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.25cts were added to each side of toms own sapphire. All the stones are set in four claw settings with cross over detail to add further side detail.
