To commemorate their individual cultures, a pearl was chosen as a nod to the Philippines where Claire is from, and a Blue John to represent the UK where Phillip is from. The striking pair are then set closely together; the two cultures joining as one in their union. The shaping of the band has delicate waves and curls, wrapping around the pearl and Blue John, as a demonstration of Claire’s love of the ocean and open water swimming.
