Michele's Multi-Generational Ring
Michele's 18ct yellow gold and platinum ring is made using inherited jewellery. In the centre is a new brilliant cut quality ruby, whilst the round cut diamonds either side are from her heirlooms. The sweeping arms accentuate the platinum in which the diamonds are set, and perfectly unite each piece whilst maintaining an element of striking individuality. It is complete with a polished finish.
Michele's Story
This ring was always going to be very special to me. After my mother died, I inherited rings from my mother and grandmother and small items of jewellery from my great-grandmother. Together with some of my own gold from a previous redesign and consultation with my daughter, five generations of women went into the making of this ring. Whilst my mother's ruby had to be replaced from a ring with similar swirls, the ruby remains central to the new design, wrapped in a big hug by the new gold swirls. I
