Re-designing Rachel's Silver ring
Rachel came into the Cambridge studio with a ring that her mother had given her as a young lady. Thre original stone had fallen out and Rachel was no longer wearing the ring. To give it a new lease of life Rachel selected this central 5mm round cabachon cut Carnelian to be set in a new 9ct yellow gold all around setting. We used the curl detail section of Rachels silver ring and mounted it on to a new, handmade 9ct yellow gold flat band with a satinised finish to highlight the beauty of the polished silver curls.
