Sarah's Sterling Silver Surprise Birthday Ring

Diane visited our studio alone in order to design a surprise ring for her best friend Sarah's birthday. After exploring ideas, we settled on a 4mm wide mobius twist ring - the width of which would suit the jewellery Sarah already wore and the design would allow for the ring to be stacked on either side of her other pieces. In each loop of the mobius twist we set precious blue topaz: one London blue and one sky blue. Diane later brought Sarah to the studio once the ring was complete, and explained to her then and there what we had been up to - at which point we were able to present Sarah with her surprise bespoke ring!
