Enjoy the vibrant city
We’re lucky to be on Regent’s Park road- the main thoroughfare in Primrose Hill surrounded by a hub of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, leading directly to the wonder of the city views atop Primrose Hill itself.
It’s easy to turn your visit to us into a whole day or even weekend trip. We’ve put together a few recommendations to help you plan.
Aside from the remarkable views on top of the hill (we recommend reaching the top for the Blake quote too) there’s a plethora of other places to visit, all within walking distance.
Cowshed spa- This is the epitome of tranquillity in the City, offering restorative treatments as well as a café to sit back, chill and chat.
Primrose Hill Books – Owned and run by husband and wife team Jessica and Graham, Primrose Hill Books is a treasure trove of literary gems. This leading independent bookshop offers a range of new and second-hand books as well as regular readings from well-known authors.
London Zoo– You could easily spend an entire day at the ZSL conservation zoo in the heart of the city. This is the world’s oldest scientific zoo that has a host of incredible wildlife to interact with, learning how they’re protecting their future. Revel as you meet the animals and make incredible memories of the wonder that is our natural world.
Regent’s Park- Take a minute to slow down, embrace the roses and nature that surround you in Regent’s Park. Hire a pitch for a family game, a boat for a gentle lake meander, or even grab a slice of cake and something nice to drink and take in the scenes. If you’re in need of inspiration, this is the place to go where a history of artists and poets precedes you.
Sweet Things – As the name suggests this little spot opposite our studio & shop is perfect for delicious cake and great coffee. We can personally recommend the banana bread! With brunch and lunch options too, it’s the perfect place to refuel after walking to the top of Primrose Hill.
Lemonia – Serving Greek food since 1979, Lemonia has established itself as Primrose Hill’s favourite neighbourhood restaurant. Customers travel from near and far to enjoy the traditional tastes of Greece in a Mediterranean setting of white-washed walls and clambering vines.
Sam’s Café – A home from home, Sam’s Cafe serves delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner with a fabulous selection of award-winning wine and refreshing cocktails. It’s a great location if you want a relaxed vibe or to enjoy one of their events such a bi-monthly book club.
London Marriot Hotel- This hotel offers all you need: comfort, sophistication and style in an ideal location within walking distance of Regent’s Park. They’re family and dog friendly and have ideal homely commodities to bring comfort after a long day site-seeing!
Holiday Inn Camden Lock- Embrace the buzz of Camden whilst also being close enough to walk to your bespoke jewellery consultation. A four-minute walk from Camden Tube Station, this modern hotel is stylish and a prime location for enjoying the iconic bars, restaurants and markets.
